53-56 Ford Truck Front Frame Boxing Plates – Pair
$59.00
Made of 9 gauge (about 1/8 inch) steel and 35-1/2″ inches long, these 1953, 1954, 1955 and 1956 Ford F100 pickup truck front frame boxing plates will add strength to the front of your 53-56 Ford F100. You should almost always box your frame when you add independent front suspension to the front of your truck. If your truck is stock with the straight axle, don’t box the frame. It’s meant to flex a little bit.
Sold in pairs
Note: Because these trucks are old and were used like trucks, you will almost always have to fit the boxing plates to the frame. Use an adjustable wrench on the frame to straighten out the short parts so the boxing plates fit.
